As a practical Martial Art, Wing Chun uses physics-based techniques to handle opponents efficiently.
By using precise footwork and positioning, practitioners avoid direct confrontation with an opponent’s force, instead moving to a safer angle to counter effectively.
This makes Wing Chun to be a very effective art in close range combat. Even a smaller or physically weaker person can still have the advantage, because skill matters more than size. The better you are at the techniques, the more effective you’ll be.
Students of all levels are welcome to classes where focus will be given to the core principles of energy alignment, balance, and precision.
You will develop strength, adaptability and improve your physical conditioning. Through time and dedication your striking and defence capabilities will improve along with your confidence in applying Wing Chun principles.

Our Traditional Tai Chi class begins with gentle warm-up exercises to stretch and open the mind and body.
This will be followed by a short Qigong practice to focus on breath control and energy flow. expect traditional drills ands standing meditation.
The core of the class involves learning and refining the Tai Chi 36 step form, a sequence of slow, graceful movements emphasising proper posture, balance, and coordination.
Students will be guided through each movement, explaining its martial application and underlying principles.
Advanced classes may include partner exercises like Push Hands to develop sensitivity and application of Tai Chi concepts.
Throughout the session, emphasis is placed on relaxation, mindfulness, and the harmony of yin and yang.

As a movement specialist with over 20 years of teaching experience, I’ve dedicated my life to understanding and teaching the intricacies of the human body. My journey began as a competitive swimmer and Pilates. I honed my skills in body awareness, strength, and flexibility. Over the years, I expanded my expertise to include various disciplines like Gyrotonic ,Yoga and Garuda.
Over the last decade I dedicated myself to training in White Crane Kung Fu, Traditional Wing Chun, and Tai Chi. This has allowed me to seamlessly transition into teaching martial arts.
This unique combination of training allows me to offer a holistic approach to fitness that goes beyond conventional exercise methods.
My classes are intuitive, challenging, and most importantly, fun. I draw from both Eastern and Western movement philosophies to create a unique experience that not only enhances physical strength but also boosts self-confidence and inner strength.
With my diverse background, I help students discover new potentials in their bodies, promoting overall well-being and empowerment that extends far beyond the studio..
I am a member of The Global Traditional Wing Chun Association under GrandMaster William Cheung, and his successor, Master Andrew Cheung.
I have been working closely with Shifu Zac Zovanovic for 7 years, the uk’s Traditional Wing Chun representative.
